Cat alert

Here is our cat on the prowl in the new bird feeder. She has mastered the art of hiding and she did get a bird today! I will be out there this afternoon to clean it off and put out feed. We have had alot of snow and it will make the deer hunting a little more challenging. I will be staying up at the camp tonight and yes there is a wood stove in it to stay nice and warm. I have had no luck yet hunting over here so I will try the other state now. Hopefully I will have a deer for a picture. ZR2

More snow yet!!!!

Well we have had alot of snow now. Not sure how much but it is snowing right now. We are supposed to get about another 1 to 2 feet by tomorrow night. We will just keep on chugging. I was able to get some pictures of a Buffalo and Pittsburgh train going through Corry Pa with a small string of tankers. The first engine is an old Allegheny Railroad engine not yet painted. Pretty neat. Tonight I went over to my parents and took the mower deck and loader off of the tractor and put the snow blower on. I still need to put the cab on yet. My tractor gets the same treatment as well but it is alot smaller. My Mom and Dads is a four wheel drive diesel and makes short work of the snow. Well I must be off to bed as tomorrow will be busy removing snow and lots of other things.

Lots of snow!!!!!!

Well we had lots of snow over the weekend! First day of hunting was wet as it rained most of the day. Second day we had some snow here and there but by yesterday we had alot. It was up to my knee caps walking into the woods. It would take me over an hour to get to my spot that I like to sit. I got out late and did not have much time to sit in the pines as I needed to get back out. All I saw was a squirrel. Not much luck as the deer won't move much in that weather. This is a pic of my back yard and you can see my pines are buried!

Friday

Well today will be a long day as Saturday is first day of deer season. I am very excited! I have some new ground to hunt now and it is very rugged so it should produce some great results! This is a picture of our cat Dora. She is a very funny cat as she is very vocal in the morning. Dora can be a good alarm clock! She is my youngest daughters cat and can sleep in her bed in the craziest positions.
